Aubrey Charette, Intern
I am the counseling intern at Montooth Counseling, providing low-cost counseling to teenagers and adults. I strive to offer a safe, supportive counseling setting, helping clients work toward emotional healing and a deeper, more holistic understanding of who they are. My particular areas of interest include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, stress, burnout, and religion/spirituality. Having worked in church ministry for four years after college, I am also passionate about partnering with local churches to improve their staff and congregation’s emotional health through counseling services and mental health education. My educational background includes obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Asbury University and currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary. As a third year graduate student therapist, I meet regularly with a licensed mental health professional to supervise my clinical work. When I’m not studying for my classes, I like playing the piano, making desserts, watching a good TV show, and playing pickleball with my friends.
I am excited to partner with you as you make the courageous step toward a brand new therapeutic journey!
