Bayley Thompson, MA, NCC, LPCA
I am a person-centered, holistic counselor committed to supporting individuals through life's challenges. Specializing in grief and trauma, I hold a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, am a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA) in Kentucky, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am also a Level 1 iRest Meditation teacher, a 500 hour registered yoga teacher (RYT-500), and hold certifications in mindfulness for mental health and the treatment of grief. I have received additional training in ACT, IFS, and the treatment of religious trauma.
As a person-centered counselor, I believe each of my clients is a unique, whole, and worthy being and my work is to be a support and guide, to help them discover how to live authentically and meaningfully.
