Jade Jacobs-Hathaway, MA, LPCA
I work with clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, women’s issues, body image concerns, and disordered eating, as well as supporting caregivers of those with developmental disabilities and dementia. I help clients identify their strengths and implement the right tools for change. Using a person-centered approach, I incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused methods to facilitate emotional regulation and guide clients toward their goals.
I hold a degree in Special Education from Eastern Kentucky University and have worked as a caregiver for adults with dementia and developmental disabilities. I am also a mother of four and have volunteered extensively, including with Natalie’s Sisters, which supports sexually exploited women. After feeling called to counseling during my prison ministry work, I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in 2023. Additionally, I have training in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International.
